UPDATE: The active search for 54 year-old Donald Ray Goodman will begin at 8:30 a.m. on Saturday – February 2nd 2019 in Port Arthur, Texas. We will be in need of searchers on foot and ATVs. The search Command Post will be located underneath the Taylors Bayou Bridge, on the east side of Taylors Bayou where it meets with Highway 73 in Port Arthur. Your directions to the search are to take I-10 eastbound until you get to Hwy. 73 near Winnie, Texas. Take the Hwy. 73 exit, and go eastbound on Hwy. 73 for about 21 miles, until you reach the Taylors Bayou Bridge. Dress appropriately for the forecasted weather conditions. There will likely be some standing water, so wear snake boots, or rubber boots. Bring your own water and snacks if possible. Original Post: 54 year-old Donald Ray Goodman was last seen on the morning of January 23rd 2019. Donald had left his home to go to work on the morning he disappeared, but he never made it to work. A deputy with the Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office later found Donald’s white, 2007 Dodge Ram Dually pick-up truck abandoned on Hwy. 73 at the Taylors Bayou Bridge in Jefferson County, Texas. Donald Ray had earlier communicated to someone that his truck had been overheating. Donald was wearing a blue, long-sleeved shirt with “Miller Me”, and his name “Donald” printed on it. He was also wearing blue uniform work pants and a baseball cap.
